LISTENING TO: Here I Am - Nicki Minaj
LOVING: thinking about what this year could and hopefully will hold.

Disposable.

So when I'm bored I tend to play with my iPhone and one of my favourite pastimes is downloading random free apps to see whether they're any good. I love 'instagram' so when I saw that the makers had released a new app called 'Disposable' I had to try it out! The concept is simple - it's a disposable camera on your phone with 24 photos which you can't view until you've finished the 'camera' and got them 'developed'. Such a cute idea & I couldn't wait to see my photos at the end. Here are a few of the ones I took with my 'December 2011' camera:

Liverpool docks, afternoon drinks, my lovely boyfriend, docks again, my new obsession: the 'snuggle seat' and chick lit at it's finest.

LISTENING TO: Sam's Town - The Killers
LOVING: sleep, stealing your boyfriend's clothes and leftover Christmas chocolate

LAST DAY OF UNI BEFORE CHRISTMAS HOLS. YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY.

Christmas Wishlist...

Clockwise from left:

- Boots with zip-capped toe, £39.99, Zara
I have some similar boots I got last year from Topshop but I've worn them so much that they're actually falling apart. I think these would be the perfect replacement.

- Grey Marl Jersey Snood, £16, Topshop
Cosy and goes with anything. In my world, simple is always the way forward.

- Gossip Girl Season 4, £24.99, Amazon
I started watching Season 4 when it was on TV but then my Sky+ messed up and I got too far behind. Need to get back into it ASAP!

- Lace Hem Cami, £28, Topshop
Yet again, simple is good.

- RayBan 'Cockpit', £165, Sunglass Hut
Because every girl needs nice shades for winter driving...

- Gold Metallic Top (that doesn't look very gold to me), £30, River Island
I tried this on a couple of weeks back and at the time I um'd and ah'd because I reckon £30 is a bit pricey. Still I do love it...

- Weekend City Bag, £29.99, Zara
I've included this in a previous wishlist but I had to put it on again because I L.O.V.E this bag. Fingers crossed that Santa thinks I've been a good girl.

LISTENING TO: Last Christmas - Metro Station
LOVING: eating my advent calendar chocolates every morning, buying presents for my nearest and dearest and general festive cheer, hurrah!

Top 5 All Time Favourite Blogs:

In no specific order...

1. Leave the World Behind - An amazing combination of music, fashion and things of general interest. I adore her playlists and she's introduced me to some great new bands/artists.

2. Romeo & the Lonely Girl - Zoe is yet another girl who has insanely good music taste. I also want to steal her wardrobe.

3. Vivatramp - I've followed Bee since her blog was a wee little thing and have always loved it. I always have a good nosey at her week in photos posts and I think she just comes across as the nicest girl.

4. Hot Tramp I Love You So - The immensely talented Boo has her own photography business, Bootique, fabulous fashion sense and a blog I adore. Yeah go follow.

5. LLYMLRS - Can't forget the ever lovely Lily. A couple of years later and I still never miss a post!

Okay so can I be naughty and add another one? Yeah? Cool...

6. The Public Diary - just love.

THIS WEEK LAURA LEARNT... #2

When I've had a few glasses of wine, I suddenly decide my dancing rivals Rihanna's. It doesn't.

High heels are brilliant until you're hammered and manage to faceplant onto a road, leaving you with a big cut on your chin and feeling like a proper twat.

ALSO:

- Potato smiles (and lots of ketchup) are my new best friends. #studentlife #hashtaggingoutsideoftwitter #lame

- When you have lots of Latin homework, suddenly cleaning your bathroom seems of the utmost priority (mine is now sparkling, as is my room, kitchen and corridor, DOH.)

- The summer is over but I'm still in love with Nicki Minaj.

LISTENING TO: Mona's album
LOVING: that it's finally the weekend! :)
